This activity will largely focus on tree planting both fruit trees and wood trees. The activities will be spearheaded by Catechists in conjunction with the Refugee Welfare Council Members, leaders of the 16 villages within Zone three which is one of the fives Zones that make up Palorinya Refugee settlement.
Refugees in this community are from Sundan and have been in this settlement for a period of 6 years. This zone has a total population of over 38,484 who live in small plots of 30 x 30 metres per household. and plan is each plat to have at least 2 tress planted in each of the plot.
This is an activity that will be done taking an opportunity of an individual Catholic working in this settlement as a Project Manager of a Child Protection project in the zone.
