Confirmands help to establish a climate resilient forest in East Tyrol

In the church forest from the parish Tristach in East Tyrol (Austria) confirmands learn more about the encyclic “Laudato Si'” and plant climate resilient trees. Decades ago people decided to plant not site-adapted tree species through which the forest was damaged by calamities: wind throw and bark beetle. The climate change forces us to act, so that also future generations can use and enjoy the forest!
