The theme of Laudato Si’ Week is “everything is connected” and this week launches a year-long journey of transformation, as we grow through the crisis of the current moment by praying, reflecting, and preparing together to build a better tomorrow.

We’ll put our preparation into action this September during the Season of Creation, which Pope Francis has invited all Catholics to celebrate as an annual season of prayer and action for our common home.

“each must be cherished with love and respect, for all of us as living creatures are dependent on one another” (Laudato Si’, 42)

Laudato Si’ Week Workshops

Along with the many events from our partners, a handful of online workshops and trainings from the Laudato Si’ Week team will bring special focus to the week-long journey of transformation.

The week begins with a two-day Laudato Si’ Retreat.

Through the rest of the week, four additional trainings will cover eco-spirituality, sustainability, advocacy, and social action. All sessions will be interactive and collaborative to unite Catholic people and institutions as we reflect and prepare for action together.
