Pope Francis invites all Catholics to participate in Laudato Si’ Week
We’re living through historic times as the coronavirus pandemic turns our world upside down. But Laudato Si’ teaches us how to build a better world–together.

Pope Francis has invited Catholics everywhere to participate in Laudato Si’ Week, 16-24 May. We’re coming together as a Catholic family to reflect, pray, and prepare for a more just and sustainable tomorrow.

Join us during Laudato Si’ Week

The in-person gatherings that had been planned are no longer feasible, due to the coronavirus. Instead, we are growing through the crisis of this moment to pray and reflect together.

Laudato Si’ teaches us that “everything is connected.” Laudato Si’ Week is one moment in a year-long journey of transformation, and we’re preparing now to take action during the Season of Creation, 1 September through 4 October.

Be sure to mark your calendar for these important dates:

  • 16-23 May: Reflect and prepare through online trainings
  • 24 May: Participate in a worldwide day of prayer to mark the fifth anniversary of Laudato Si’

Our greatest connections in faith often come in the most challenging times. We’re coming together not just as individuals, but as a Catholic family, drawing on the beautiful clarity of Laudato Si’ to build a better world-together.
